Notes

DAS28-ESR or DAS28-CRP?+
Either is acceptable if used consistently for the same patient. DAS28-CRP generally gives lower values, so applying DAS28-ESR cut-offs to it can over-classify remission.
Does DAS28 include the feet?+
No — the 28-joint count excludes ankles and feet, so active foot disease can be missed. Examine the feet separately.
